Tea time - Cendol

Today after Yu Ming woke up from his afternoon nap, we went to have cendol for our tea time. This is Kulim famous cendol stall which is situated just opposite of Petronas Tmn Bersatu Kulim.


We arrived at about 4.50pm and order a bowl of cendol without glutinous rice (pulut). This is the first try for Yu Ming and he dislike it... but at least he enjoyed seeing how the seller shaving the ice.

Yu Ming was concentrating watching how the "abang" shave the ice.

McDonald's Pokemon toys

This morning, me and Yu Ming went to McDonald's for his breakfast. I ordered Hotcakes Happy Meal with iced Milo for him and waiting for our last collectible Pokemon toy "Victini". Too bad that we were told that "Pikachu surf board" was the only collectible left, with disappointment I have to accept it... actually we have collected all the first 6 collectibles... :(

Zi Ming first hair cut after full moon

Zi Ming never has his hair cut after full moon, his granny gave him some little hair trimmed today. Our little Zi Ming boy with his new hair cut.

New toys - helicopter

Yesterday I brought Yu Ming to Marco Polo Mini Market at Lunas to buy some groceries, and we saw a cute helicopter which you can pull the string and the wings (rotor) will spin. It was just RM3.60 per piece and I bought 2, one for YM and another one for ZM.

Friday lunch at 大食堂

Today during 2 hours lunch time, we had our lunch at Restaurant Tai Sek Thong (大食堂).  Me, Grace, CS and MY, we arrived at about 1.10pm, the restaurant was almost full at that time probably because it was lunch time.

I was having 'Marmite chicken rice' and the portion of the white rice was quite big, me and CS were not able to finish it.

Nintendo Wii

BS borrowed a Nintendo Wii from his friends for me to play during his 1 week business trip to US. He assembled the system on late Friday night at our Raja Uda home and I was at Kulim during that time. When he went back to Kulim, he briefly teach me how to play the Wii by showing some of the YouTube videos as he will catch his early flight the next day. And now after 1 week, I still do not have the time to explore the Wii system. Hmm… I think I'll just wait for him to come back on next Monday and teach me again.

NBA match

Today BS went to watch NBA match at Phoenix downtown, his colleague in US gave him the ticket to the match.

This is his first time watching NBA live and he was so excited and enjoyed. The match started at 7.25pm and ended at around 10.20pm and during free times, people will be dancing and king kong mascot will make fun to entertain the audiences. Finally, the result: Phoenix Sun lost the match.

Administrative Professional's Week

This week is Administrative Professional's Week (Celebrated from 22nd-28th April 2012). Wendy bought a 2 Kg brownies to celebrate with our admin - Diana, Diana had spent some of her time to be our acting admin as we do not have any admin for quite some time. We had a small cake cutting celebration after our breakfast and it was a surprise for Diana as she did not know that we've planned this for her.

Yu Ming 2nd Birthday

Today is our little Yu Ming 2nd Birthday, we just had a simple celebration at Kulim. We went for dinner at Min Yen restaurant and then cake cutting at home. Yu Ming was so happy and surprised when we started to sing the birthday song, he was smiling all the way when we sang the song. After we blew the candle, he enjoyed cutting the cake and eating them especially the cherries and strawberry.
