Friday lunch at Old Town

Last Friday we went to Old Town to had our Friday lunch after my long morning meeting.... Thanks to my friends waited for me although had been late for more than 15 mins than our usual lunch time.

I only had Ipoh hor fun soup and a cup of hot honey lemon juice... hoped to released my sore throat and cough. This was my first time taking honey lemon juice, I have forgotten that there was a layer of honey at the bottom of the juice and it was covered by the lemon slices in the cup. After finished the drink, only realised the honey layer,  so I just directly used the spoon to scoop the honey and consumed.... although it was sweet, it can really stopped my coughing for a while... :-)

After the lunch, went to see Chinese traditional medicine clinic to get some medicine to cure my cough and sore throat.

Samsung Galaxy III

BS bought me a Samsung Galaxy S3 for our 4th wedding anniversary present♥.

After a month got the present,  finally got CS to take the photo from her galaxy S3 and NFC S Beam to my phone. :-)

2012 Christmas cake

BS bought a Christmas cake a few days back plan to celebrate Christmas with the boys... We only managed to cut the cake on the 26th because Yu Ming was at his granny's house on 25th.

The boys were so happy when see the cake and requested for candle to be lighted up for them to blow. After we lighted up the candle, both of them started to sing birthday song... hahaha so funny... This was the boys' first Christmas cake.

2012 Christmas walk walk

Last Tuesday we brought little Zi Ming to Megamall Seberang Prai to have our Christmas day walk walk and some shopping.  Little Yu Ming was staying at his granny's house, so didn't bring him along.

Yesterday I bought a new sunglasses when doing our shopping at Megamall (Pacific)...

This morning started to wear it on my way to office...

Child specialist clinic again

This time I think is our fifth time to child specialist in this month... this time both the boys will see the doctor together, both of them were having diarrhea since the day before.

They were happy when we reached the clinic because there were so many toys and they enjoyed playing them.

Zi Ming fever again

This morning I took half day leave to bring little Zi Ming to clinic after fever for 2 days and no improvement after taking medicine... Some more today his flu came back again...

Got the clarification from the doctor that at night during his sleep, we need to wake him up to feed the medicine. During their bed time their condition will be worsen because they do not exercise to let out the heat from the body... need to set alarm tonight to feed him the medicine... hopefully he will continue his sleep after that.

Ta bao dinner at Ju Heng

We went to ta bao our dinner at Ju Heng after coming back from Tesco Extra on Monday night. Both of us ordered their famous Tom Yam noodles.

Little Spider-Man and Batman

Jeanly bought Spider-Man and Batman suits for the boys during her business trip to Bangkok last month.
The suits were cute and there's a hood that will cover the eyes when put it on,  the boys don't want to put it on although just for a while for me to take photo.

I've put their photos on Facebook as I promised Jeanly to show her the photos.

We let little Yu Ming to choose which suit he want and have chosen the Spider-Man suit.

Saturday at Tesco SP Selatan

Last Saturday, we decided to have a walk at Giant and Tesco SP Selatan... I just noticed that it's faster to travel to SP than to Penang island from our house, by using the PLUS highway from Sg. Dua toll. . it's just about 15 minutes drive on the highway to reach SP Selatan toll.

Although it's only 15mins drive on the highway, the traffic after SP Selatan toll was very slow and it took about 20 minutes to reach the first traffic light.

We asked both of the boys to take a nap when starting our journey from home but little Yu Ming only fell asleep 5 minutes before we reached Giant.. sigh.. . Then we decided to let him sleep for another 10 minutes and skipped Giant and went to drive around exploring the
area before reaching Tesco.

YM - fever and flu

Last night our little Yu Ming was having a very serious flu and caused him couldn't sleep well whole night... me and BS also couldn't sleep well because little Yu Ming was crying and made noise and we need to comfort and take care of him...

This morning, BS was not working so he brought YM to the child clinic nearby our house...

Hokkien Mee at Hong Tat Kopitiam

Today we went to Hong Tat coffee shop to have our lunch. Today I ordered Hokkien Mee and iced white coffee... Hong Tat coffee shop is also very famous for its wanton mee and chicken rice...

This is my first time tasted the Hokkien Mee in this stall because most of the time they're finished selling during lunch time... very tasty Hokkien Mee... I should have tried it earlier...

Robocop Polly

Both the boys like to watch Robocop Polly cartoon especially our little Yu Ming. This cartoon was in Korean language and we watched it in YouTube. The characters are cute and the stories are educational, we think it's quite suitable for the boys.. actually we like to watch it too and BS was also trying to learn Korean language from the cartoon.

Jawa char

Today we went out for lunch again because SY and CS wanted to go to RHB bank to do some transactions. We went to one of the coffee shop in Selasih to have  our lunch. 

I don't know what is the coffee shop's name but in our department we always refer it as "astro". When I joined the department 8 years ago, I did asked the seniors why are they named the shop "astro"? They told me because that time only this coffee shop has Astro tv among all the coffee shops they went in Kulim.

This shop is just in front of Minat supermarket in Selasih. One of its famous food is fried Jawa noodles - "Jawa Char".

Hainanese chicken rice again for lunch

Today 5 of us (BC, MY, SY, CS and me) went to Kulim town to have our lunch.. We went to one of the famous Hainanese chicken rice shop, all of us ordered chicken rice...
Very satisfying and fulfilling lunch... yummy, yummy...

My supper tonight

On the way back  from work tonight (around 10pm), BS bought me a chicken burger from a stall near to our house for supper.

Kopi O & Hainanese chicken rice

Today I went out to Kulim town to have lunch with BS. I have to take hot drink because of my sore throat and coughing, so I just ordered hot Kopi O and my favorite Hainanese chicken rice (white chicken).

Tyre flat

This morning, on the way to my dad's house, suddenly our car's tyre hit on something hard. BS stopped at the nearest petrol station to check on the car and found that one of the tyres flat.
while waiting for BS changing the tyre, I brought the boys to do some shopping at the mart in the petrol station.

Christmas at Sunway Carnival Mall

We went to Sunway Carnival Mall this evening just to bring our 2 little warriors to have some walks. The mall were having some Christmas celebration stage setup and performance by music schools. Our boys enjoyed the show but just lasted for about 15mins...  :S

YS's birthday lunch at Old Town

Today we went to Old Town Kopitiam to celebrate YS's belated birthday. There were total 8 of us but we're having a bad experience, waited for more than 1 hour to get all our orders...
My first time tasted the Old Town's chendol, quite disappointed as not meeting my expectation (6.5/10)...

Research on YM's Kindy

Today we went to research on kindergarten and nursery for our little Yu Ming. We might send him to the kindergarten near to our house for full day nursery. We're thinking of sending him in mid of December but will after he's recovered from his cough and flu.

MC today

I was not feeling well early this morning, was having serious sore throat , flu and fever... BS was not working today, so he brought me to see our company's panel doctor which is also near to our house.
Before go to the clinic, we went to have our breakfast at Chaw Choon Dim Sum. I just had a  small bowl of hot porridge.

While for lunch we went to 7 Village to have their famous kueu tiaw soup and la mian. I was trying to take something light and not so oily foods.

Lunch with orphanage kids & visit to the home

Yesterday was our department's team building day and the team building committee had organized a lunch with orphanage kids at McDonald's.
After the lunch, we paid a visit to Sunshine Cottage Welfare Society which is located behind the Kulim Convent school.

I received a sms regarding enroll to Citi Win 500 Samsung Prizes Contest by Citibank, decided to try my luck since I always pay my bills and petrol using my Citibank credit card and most of the bill were above RM50.

Lunch at Hussain Nasi Kandar

Today me and BS went to Hussain Nasi Kandar at Kulim Landmark Mall to have our lunch.
I took nasi briyani (reduced to half), mutton and lady fingers while BS took nasi briyani, mutton and egg with 2 glasses of teh tarik. All together cost us RM24.80... more expensive than usual because we're taking nasi briyani instead of normal white rice, but the briyani rice tasted great because it used  Basmati rice cooked with spices.

ZM's clinic visit today

Today I brought our little ZM to clinic as he was having cough and fever.
Besides that, doctor told me that ZM was underweight... he was only 9.4 kg today and for 16 months old baby he's supposed to be about 11.5 kg. Doctor gave me extra vitamin and probiotics capsule to help in ZM's weight gain.
